The concept of Gigi’s Cafe was born from local foodies, Lili and Juan Carlos Their love for quality, fresh ingredients and the belief that food should be an experience sparked something special. Mixing flavor, fun, and vibes, this Latin-American fusion brings a unique brunch concept to Cedar Grove, NJ — the perfect blend of bold flavors and vibes loud.
With a focus on both gastronomy and entertainment, Gigi’s Cafe is redefining your daily breakfast and weekend brunch experiences. As a passionate local NJ business owner, Lili is known for her authenticity and bringing real passion to everything she does.
Family Influences
The inspiration runs deep: Lili’s grandma owned a juice cafe where everything was made from scratch. She raised Lili, and she grew up watching her grandma walk out to the backyard to gather ingredients — everything was fresh, fragrant, and full of love. The kitchen always smelled delicious, and every dish was made with care — never shortcuts.
Lili’s grandma shaped her into who she is today and is the true inspiration behind this passion project. From cutting the perfect cucumber, to always having her school uniform ironed, to adding thoughtful touches like handmade bows for gifts — this is where Lili learned attention to detail. It’s where her culinary passion was born. Her grandma made a way for more than just a cafe — she created a lifestyle Lili now wants to bring to life. It’s where she learned love, patience, how to care for her kids, and how to make everyone feel at home.
To Lili, this is more than a cafe — it’s keeping her roots alive.
